As a long-time Denver, CO resident, watching this video brought back some of the great reasons why I love living in this area…

Seriously…who would NOT want to at least visit Denver after watching that?! The scenery, the weather, the culture, the history…all combine to make this a wonderful area in which to live. The video repeats the statistic that Denver has over 300 days of sunshine each year, and once you live here…you realize that this is no exaggeration. Kids who are raised here, and people who have moved from other areas end up LOVING rain days…just because they are so rare. Add a little thunder and lightning, and we are happy, happy, happy!

Add our AWESOME professional sports teams to the mix – Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies, Denver Nuggets, Denver Outlaws, Colorado Mammoth, Colorado Rapids – and it’s the icing on the cake.

What’s your favorite thing about living in or visiting Denver?

The article pointed to the 16th Street pedestrian mall, a ‘varied and diverse’ downtown and public transportation as reasons why walkers are right at home in the Mile High City.
