A recent Forbes magazine study, America’s Best Cities For Young Professionals, looked at population, unemployment, average salaries and cost of living to come up with a list of cities where ‘ambitious college grads’ have the best chance at succeeding. The Mile High City came out great:
Denver ranks No. 8 on this year’s Forbes list of the best large cities where a recent college graduate can get a strong start on a high-powered career. The magazine and website rate Denver highest for having a relatively low unemployment rate and for higher-than-average income. It ranks lowest for its lack of large locally based companies.
Houston, Washington D.C. and Minneapolis took the top three spots…..however, we think that the quality of life in Colorado is so much better that we should really be #1.
