Forbes Magazine just released their annual ranking of colleges in the U.S. Colorado can boast 11 colleges on this list of 610 schools.
The Air Force Academy was Colorado’s highest ranking school, coming in at #11. Colorado College was the next highly-rated, at #51.
Additional Colorado colleges on the list included: Colorado School of Mines, Golden; University of Colorado at Boulder; University of Denver; Colorado State University, Fort Collins; University of Colorado Denver; Western State College, Gunnison; Fort Lewis College, Durango; Metropolitan State College of Denver; and Mesa State College.
Williams College (MA) was ranked as the top school, followed by Princeton and Amherst.
Forbes looked at factors such as student evaluations of courses and instructors, average graduate salaries, and average student debt is after four years.
