Relocation.com recently prepared a list of the top cities in which people could get a ‘fresh start’.  Denver ranked #4, just behind Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth and Charlotte.

The study factored in economic conditions, but also looked at the cities’ popularity, volunteerism rates, and home affordability.

jump for happinessAccording to a study conducted by Apartments.com and CBCampus.com, Denver ranks as #8 in their list of the 10 best cities in the U.S. for college grads to live affordably and find a job.

To develop the top 10 rankings, the study identified U.S. cities that have the highest concentration of young adults (age 20 – 24).  The stats were taken from the U.S. Census Bureau 2006 data.  Next, they looked at CBcampus.com for the number of available jobs requiring less than one year of experience in each city.  The final factor considered was the  average cost of rent for a one bedroom apartment from Apartments.com.

This ranking comes on the heels of Forbes.com‘s finding that Denver is one of the top relocation destinations in the country earlier this year.

Check out the Denver area – as you can see….there is plenty to offer!
